Your machines are already talking. Most businesses just aren’t listening.
Pumps, engines, vehicles, vessels and production lines give off a constant stream of signals: heat, vibration, pressure, position, power. Most of it is never captured, so failures arrive as surprises and every breakdown costs more than the last. At the same time, new laws mean anything that connects to a network must now be secure by design and kept patched for years.
We engineer the whole chain as one system: the sensor and firmware on the device, the connection, the edge, the cloud platform and the apps your people use to act on what it tells them.

less machine downtime from predictive maintenance, which also extends machine life by 20–40%.

From the chip on the device to the decision on the screen.
Six kinds of work, engineered to fit together. Most connected projects fail at the joins between hardware, network and software. We own all of them.
Six layers between a sensor and a decision.
A connected system is only as strong as its weakest layer. We design all six together because a fault in one shows up in every other. Tap a marker to look inside.

If it connects, it’s now regulated.
For years, security was something a connected product could add later. Not any more. In the UK and the EU, anything that connects to a network must be secure by design, supported with updates and backed by a process for reporting vulnerabilities. Products designed without that in mind will need to be reworked or withdrawn.

UK PSTI rules in force: no default passwords, a way to report vulnerabilities and a stated support period
EU Cyber Resilience Act reporting begins: exploited vulnerabilities flagged within 24 hours
the rest of the CRA applies: secure-by-design requirements and CE marking for products with digital elements
Secure by design
Unique device identities, encrypted links and secure boot from the first prototype, not bolted on before launch.
Updatable for life
Signed over-the-air updates and a software bill of materials, so every device can be patched for its whole support period.
Ready to report
Vulnerability monitoring and a response process that meets the 24-hour clock, with the technical file to prove it.
Six stages. From one sensor on a bench to thousands in the field.
We prove it on your equipment before you commit to scale, and plan the updates before the first device ships.

The right parts depend on where they’ll live.
A sensor in a clean room and a sensor on a ship’s engine have little in common. Tell us what you are connecting and here is where we would usually start.

Some of the systems we connect are hundreds of miles from shore.
Our work in maritime and marine salvage set our standard for connected systems. Engine rooms are hot, wet and never still. Satellite links come and go. In a salvage operation, readings from pumps, tanks and the casualty itself have to reach the shore team whether or not the link holds. Class rules now require new ships to be cyber resilient too. We design for all of it, and we have deployed technology onshore and offshore in record time when an operation depended on it.
Also building for manufacturing, energy, logistics, utilities, agriculture, buildings and consumer products.
